Perhaps an unusual hobby for a woman? Certainly I've not come across very many others in the hobby - if there are any out there, hi!
I got into the hobby courtesy of my boyfriend Ant. After I'd seen his models and watched him working on some of them, I decided to give it a try. So I did, and thanks to Ant's guidance and patience, I now have a fair collection of kits I've built and painted myself. This page is intended to be just a way of showing off some of them.
I tend to build mainly figure kits (although I've done a few space ships) and most of them are based in the SciFi/fantasy genre. Many of them are Garage kits - this is defined basically as a short run kit produced by small scale manufacturing companies. Some "garage kit" companies are quite big & well known now, but on the whole, they tend to be sort of one-man operations
